<div itemprop="description">Dave passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday November 7, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Survived by beloved wife Barbara (nee Tait) after recently celebrating 65 years of marriage. Father of Doug (Domenique) of British Columbia, Mary of St. Catherines and Ron (Brenda) of London.<br>Grandpa to grandchildren Skywyn (David), Lorin of Vancouver, Spencer (Marissa) of London and Kylie of Toronto and great-grandpa to Daemion.<br>Survived by sister Betty Milbourne (late John) of Kingsville and predeceased by brothers George (late Shirley) of California and Robert (late Ann) of Windsor. Missed by sister-in-law Donna (Dr. Alfred Brooks) as well as many nieces and nephews.<br>Dave was the son of the late Ira and Violet Ford (later James Shuttleworth) and was born and grew up in Roseland. Dave and Barb lived in Windsor, Burlington and Kingsville. For many years Dave was an air freight coordinator at Ford Motor Company in Windsor and Oakville. Dave was a faithful Maple Leafs fan and an avid golfer, bowler and shuffleboard player. Dave and Barb were world travellers until becoming snowbirds in Bradenton Florida for 25 years and made many friends both in Florida and Ontario. For many years they attended Roseland United Church and then Epworth United Church in Kingsville.<br>The family welcomes all family and friends for visitation at Victoria Greenlawn (1525 Highway #3 Oldcastle, Ontario) on Thursday November 10th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted at Victoria Greenlawn on Friday November 11th at 10 am with Rev. John van Omme officiating.<br>The family would like to thank the caring staff at Sisters of St. Joseph in London for their attentive and compassionate care. Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army.<br></div>
