Passed away peacefully with loving family by his side. Best friend of loving wife Elizabeth (Thorburn) of 63 years. Beloved father of Richard, Kevin, Peggy-Sue (Ken) Delisle and Karen (Dave) Djankovic. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by brothers George (Fran), Doug (Sim), Leroy (Shirley). He will be missed by sisters/brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Jerry (1986) and Gwen (2004). Retired from Ford Windsor Casting Plant, member of CAW Local 200. His passion was his family and the many friends who were like family to him. Visitation will be held on Thursday February, 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home,1525 Highway #3 Oldcastle 519-969. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday in the chapel at 1 p.m. Thank you to the WRH Ouellette Campus ICU staff who treated all of us so well in his last days, all involved in the Renal Dialysis Unit, Saint Elizabeth, CCAC and Belle River Community Support Centre. Donations in memoriam are requested to Canadian Diabetes Association, The Renal Dialysis Unit and the Bell River Community Support Centre.
